Happy Birthday Dr Gibson

Free Coffee tomorrow at the Gibson House Manor 9 am-1 pm Saturday January 27, 2024 in honor of Dr “G”….he turned 211 years old on Monday, January 22nd!

If you are a resident of Jamestown or surrounding areas (Greenville, Linesville, Espyville, Andover, Kinsman or Meadville then you live in the territory Dr Gibson served as a medical doctor for more than 50 years). In Doc Gibson’s honor please come get your free cup of coffee (and Birthday Cake!) at our Pop Up Breakfast/Lunch Bar—Come to the Lodge Entrance from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, January 27th! We also have Breakfast sandwiches (egg and cheese and bacon or sausage) and lunch items and coffee, of course! 

This pop up Breakfast is sponsored by the Friends of the Manor Charitable Trust, a non profit organization dedicated to the historic preservation of Gibson House Manor and its use as a historic education Visitor’s center dedicated to teaching the history of Jamestown, PA and the beginning and end of slavery in the United States, the Underground Railroad, the Civil War and the passage of the 13th amendment. 

We also have an Underground Railroad Lunch and Tour starting at 11:30 am today. Lunch is fresh made Lasagna, garlic bread, side salad, fresh fruit and a lemon or chocolate dessert from Ice House Bakery in Conneaut Lake. 

If you already came for the tour but want to have lunch with us, come to the Lodge entrance. Lunch served from 11:30 to 12:30. Today that is possible.
